Rental Conditions
Please read these rental conditions carefully before booking. By renting a vehicle with Joua Car, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions.
- Minimum age for renting a standard vehicle is 21 years old.
- The driver must hold a valid driver's license for at least 1-2 years (depending on vehicle class).
- A valid ID or Passport is mandatory for all rental contracts.
- The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis.
- Early pickups are subject to availability. Late returns exceeding 2 hours may incur an additional day's charge.
- Booking is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation email or WhatsApp message from Joua Car.
- No off-road use is permitted unless a 4x4 vehicle has been explicitly rented for that purpose.
- Fuel Policy: Full-to-Full. The vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned full.
- Strictly No Smoking inside vehicles. A cleaning fee will apply otherwise.
- We accept Cash (MAD/EUR/USD), Credit Cards, and Bank Transfers.
- A security deposit (pre-authorization) is required at the start of the rental.
- Any extra charges (tolls, cleaning, extra hours) will be deducted from the deposit if not paid separately.
- Basic insurance coverage is included in all rentals.
- The client is responsible for a fixed deductible amount in case of damage or theft.
- Glass breakage and tire damage are generally not covered unless premium insurance is purchased.
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the pickup time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a one-day rental fee.
- No refunds are provided for early returns or "no shows".
- GPS, Baby Seats, and extra drivers can be added for a small daily fee.
- Traffic fines and highway toll fees incurred during the rental are the sole responsibility of the client.
- 24/7 Roadside Assistance is provided for technical breakdowns.
